Patrick was born and raised in Ramsey, NJ. He attended Ramsey High School and went on to play at Pace University where he was Drafted in the 14th Round of the Major League Draft by the Colorado Rockies.
He played two seasons in the Rockies organization before joining the Washington Wild Things of the Frontier League. He led the Frontier League in strikeouts and that landed him an opportunity with the Newark Bears in 2008 with teammate Mike Just.
Competing with Big Leaguers in the Atlantic League, Patrick led the Atlantic League in strikeouts! This high accomplishment led to the Detroit Tigers signing Patrick and bringing him as high as Triple A. While with the Tigers, he was sent to an Injury Prevention Training Facility in Alabama where Sports Scientists worked on Patrick’s mechanics and broke down every detail of the throwing motion. They also informed him of proper Big League approach to strength and conditioning.
Patrick utilizes the injury preventive techniques with his clients during a lesson to add top notch professional experience while providing injury preventive techniques which separates him from all other pitching instructors in the area.
